Vytina Kernitsa Magouliana Valtesiniko tour
Description:
We start from Vytina Square. We follow the marked path (Menalon trail) and from a gentle downhill route we reach a stone bridge (Tzavarainas) where we stop to admire the view of the Mylaontas river. Then through dense vegetation we reach at the famous monastery of Kernitsa. Opportunity to see the valley that crosses the river Mylaontas panoramic. After a gentle path we enter a fir forest and end up in the hermitage of Sfirida. After cooling down at the spring we continue among the fir trees on an uphill demanding path. Finishing the uphill in a gentle traverse we have an incredible view of Mainalo Then through an incredible variety of fields through streams, firs, springs, stone bridges we will take a brake at Magouliana the highest village in Peloponesse 1340m elavation. Our tour continiues following the marked Menalon trail rout and end our tour at Valtesiniko village.
